Alexander was born in the Isle of Man and joined the National Youth Theatre before training at the Guildford Schoool of Acting where he won the Principal’s Acting Award.
His theatre credits include the title role in Candide (National Tour), Taking Steps (London and Middle East), Time and Time Again (Eye Theatre), Hamlet (RSC), the title role in Henry V (Richmond), A Midsummer Nights Dream, The Tempest, Twelfth Night (Oxford), Sail Away (Woking) and most recently the national tour of Ray Cooney’s Caught in the Net.
He has appeared in the films Stiff Upper Lips, Generation Lost and Radio Werewolf and was on television earlier in the year in D-Day to Berlin as Capt. Mather.
Alexander is a published poet and his first book, Fynoderee, on the folklore of the Isle of Man is out in November.
