Laurence Aldridge

Laurence graduated from the University College of Bretton Hall with BA Honors in Theatre Acting in July 2001. A strong Shakespeare performer, Laurence has toured with Heartbreak Productions over the last two seasons in their open air productions of Much Ado About Nothing, where he played the role of Benedick and Borachio, and last year he was Lysander and Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He played Aumerle in Richard II with Logos Theatre Company, and for Cambridge Shakespeare Company he was Ferdinand in Love Labour’s Lost, and Bassanio in Merchant of Venice. Other theatre productions include playing the role of Tom in The Bridge with Mouthpiece Theatre Co and the Inspector in Christie in Love.

Musical Theatre productions include the role of Mordred in Enchanted, Lord Whittle in The Complete Works of Gilbert & Sullivan, Pruned!, Lockitt in The Beggar’s Opera and Dr Scott/Eddy in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He was a soloist singer in Some Enchanted Evening. He has recently played The Pavement Man in a rather dark production of Miranda at The Priestley Hotel, Bradford.
