Huw is probably best known for playing PC Garfield in The Bill, a role he played over a period of ten years and 600 episodes.
He has appeared in numerous other television shows, including Heartbeat, Casualty and Holby City. He was also a regular in Ben Elton’s Blessed and played Mr Davis in Eastenders for twelve episodes. Film includes the role of the prosecuting council in Jessica (shot in Australia).
Theatre includes What The Butler Saw (West End), Abigail’s Party (national tour), Great Expectations for the Sydney & Melbourne Theatre Companies, and an Australian tour of Lone Star by James McLeur. He has recently finished the world premiere of In The Club by Richard Bean at Hampstead Theatre.
Huw has also worked as a presenter, his favourite job being the presenter for Chelsea FC’s in-house football show. He also narrated The Boat and the Bomb, a documentary for Greenpeace.
Away from acting he is a keen fly fisherman and golfer. He is very much looking forward to the tour of Meeting Joe Strummer.
