Spring 2001 saw the tour of Noel Coward’s hilarious comedy of ‘theatrical life’, Present Laughter. Set in the 1940’s, it starred Richard Walsh (‘Sicknote’ from London’s Burning) as the self-obsessed, dressing-gowned actor Gary Essendine, Brian Cant as his faithful valet Fred, and Anne Charleston (‘Madge’ from Neighbours) as his long-suffering secretary Monica. |
